CARROLL COUNTY WENT TO THE WORLD SERIES!!!!
The Carroll County Recreation Department would like to announce that their 15/16 year old boys team WON the State Tournament in South Boston!!! They traveled to Ozark Alabama on Thursday, July 23rd to participate in the “Dixie Pre-Majors World Series”!!!
The last time a team from Carroll County accomplished this was in 1987. The team left from the Recreation Department on Thursday the 23rd at 9:00 a.m. Their first game was Saturday the 25th at 4:00 p.m. in Ozark Alabama.
We are extremely proud of this team!!
