The Resource Development Office generates millions of dollars in new revenues to offset the cost of County services and seeks new opportunities for funding. The Office strives to create new jobs and economic development in Carroll County through grants.  The office is professionally accredited.

Major Accomplishments

In 2009, the Office generated more than $6.5 million in grant revenues for Carroll County.  In addition to the $6.5 million in grants, Carroll County received another $4.5 million in no or low interest loans as a direct result of grant proposals submitted by Resource Development Office; for a total of $11 million in new revenues in 2009 to Carroll County. Of the $6.5 million, over $6 million were grant awards for economic development and nearly half a million were grant awards for public safety.

The Office is fully accredited as a charter Grant Professional Certified (GPC) and ranked nationally with grant professional credential.
