SBDC 2008 Report
The Business Development Specialist conducts assessment surveys of companies of all sizes in Carroll County in determining the competitiveness of each company. Bernie develops an improvement plan, which includes consulting, training, marketing, access to funding agencies, and providing a wide variety of other business services. Also, Bernie is responsible for business clients who are either already in business or interested in starting up a business in the county, and assists each client with the development of a comprehensive business plan addressing all of the common business aspects from concept through sales and delivery.
